Project Charles: Martin Group and Rotary International Bolster Healthcare Infrastructure in Puducherry
At Martin Group, we are deeply committed to enhancing access to critical medical services through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. In a significant collaboration with Rotary International, we are proud to announce the successful donation of 14 advanced dialysis machines, valued at ₹1.25 Crore, to three prominent healthcare institutions in Puducherry.
The distribution of these life-saving units was carried out on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, as follows:
- Kidney Center Hospital: 7 machines
- Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS): 4 machines
- Cluny Hospital: 3 machines
The donation ceremony was led by Mr. Jose Charles Martin, Managing Director of Martin Group, and Dr. Leema Rose Martin, Director of Martin Group. This initiative, titled “Project Charles”, reflects our shared vision of providing high-quality renal care to those in need and strengthening the region’s medical capacity.
We were honoured to be joined by several distinguished partners, including Rtn. Kavitha Gopalakrishnan (Project Chairman), Rtn. Madhu Kannan (President of Aakruthi Club) and its members, along with the Presidents of various Puducherry Rotary Clubs and senior hospital officials.
Through Project Charles, Martin Group continues to prioritise community health and humanitarian service, ensuring that sustainable healthcare solutions reach the heart of our society.
