Martin Group Donates 1 Crore to Assam CM’s Relief Fund, Enhancing Community Support and Relief Efforts
In 2020, the Martin Group made a significant contribution by donating 1 Crore to the Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This donation was aimed at supporting various relief efforts in the region. The cheque was personally handed over to the Chief Minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal, by Mr. Jose Charles Martin, Managing Director of the Martin Group, in a meeting that emphasised the company’s commitment to social responsibility and community support.
The funds were intended to be utilised to provide relief and aid to those affected by natural disasters, enhance healthcare facilities, and support disaster management initiatives in the state.
The event was held at the Chief Minister’s office in Guwahati, where Mr Martin expressed his heartfelt support for the people of Assam and reiterated the company’s dedication to contributing to the welfare of the society.
