Martin Windfarms is a pioneering division of the Martin Group of Companies, committed to spurring Alternative Energy proliferation throughout India. One standout achievement is the firm’s operation and management of a suite of 20 state-of-the-art windmills – each clocking in at a potent 1250 KW output and manufactured by Suzlon – across two locations in Tamil Nadu. With this robust setup, Martin Windfarms boasts an impressive total installed capacity rating of 25 MW, which has been actively utilised since commercial power generation commenced back in September 2005.

Remarkably enough these advanced machinery pieces serve diverse purposes. Of these turbines, twelve supply power to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board while eight provide captive use among our group’s spinning mills. All twenty turbines fall under TN EB Udumalpet circle coverage.
